Every summer, the National Pork Board welcomes high school and college students to our office as part of our internship program.

About the Intern Experience

NPB interns get the chance to work alongside industry professionals across multiple departments in a wide variety of careers in the agriculture industry. From supporting the industry’s sustainability efforts to conducting crucial financial audits, NPB interns are an integral part of teams that support America’s pork producers.

Paid internships
All interns are paid a competitive hourly wage starting at $15/hour and offered a housing allowance

Learn from a diverse corps of interns
Work alongside 10 to 15 college-aged students from across the country

Flexible
Interns can work a hybrid format, flexible hours during the school year and full time in the summer

Professional development opportunities
Interns partake in trainings, conferences, industry events, major projects and more
